Liquid nitrogen in China is widely used across multiple industries due to its ultra-low temperature properties. Key applications include rapid food freezing and modified atmosphere packaging in the food and beverage sector, cryogenic storage for biological samples and pharmaceuticals in healthcare, and inerting and cooling processes in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. It is also used in chemical processing, metal fabrication, and precision manufacturing. The expansion of cold chain logistics networks, growing demand for processed foods, and increased investment in laboratory and biobank infrastructure have further broadened the scope of liquid nitrogen applications throughout both urban and industrial regions of China.
